7 Dividend stocks offering more than 4.3% returns
If you’re anything like me, you are fascinated by the idea of passive income and the freedom that it can bring. In the times that we are living, there are hundreds of different methods of passive income ranging from real estate to blogging, but in this article, I am going to talk about one that some people never think of. We’re going to take a look at Dividend income from strong reliable stocks. Before we start, I must say that I am not a Financial Advisor, and you should consult a professional before making any investment decisions.

Realty Income Corp. is a real estate company, that engages in generating dependable monthly cash dividends from a consistent and predictable level of cash flow from operations. The company was founded by William E. Clark, Jr. and Evelyn Joan Clark in 1969 and is headquartered in San Diego, CA.
Realty income has been so consistent with its dividend payments and dividend increases that they have been widely called the “Monthly Dividend Company” and another thing that sets them apart is that they pay their dividends monthly, whereas many companies only pay quarterly. At the time of writing this article, the dividend yield is 4.99% and the stock price is $61.39

Verizon Communications Inc. through its subsidiaries, provides communications, information, and entertainment products and services to consumers, businesses, and governmental agencies. Its services include Wireless and Wireline. The Wireless segment offers communications products and services, including wireless voice and data services and equipment sales, to consumer, business, and government customers across the United States.
I’m sure that most of you have heard of Verizon, as it is one of the largest communication companies in existence. What you might not have known is that they currently have a dividend yield of 7.16% Paid on a quarterly Basis. With many years of dividend payments and increases this stock could be a good choice for an investment portfolio.

Chances are you’ve never heard of this REIT but with 26 years of dividend increases and a 6.08% dividend yield, you might want to check it out.

4. International Business Machines Ticker Symbol (IBM)
International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) is a technology company. The Company operates through five segments: Cognitive Solutions, Global Business Services (GBS), Technology Services & Cloud Platforms, Systems, and Global Financing.
This one is another company that you have probably heard a lot about, but maybe didn’t know that they paid dividends on their company’s profit. With a 30-year streak of dividend increases and a 4.83% yield, It’s definitely on my list. This stock pays its dividend quarterly.
5. Franklin Resources, Inc Ticker Symbol (BEN)
is a holding company, which engages in the provision of investment management and related services. The firm offers services and products under various distinct brand names, including, but not limited to, Franklin, Templeton, Legg Mason, Benefit Street Partners, Brandywine Global Investment Management, Clarion Partners, Clear Bridge Investments, Fiduciary Trust International, Franklin Bissett, Franklin Mutual Series, K2, Liberty Shares, Martin Currie, Royce Investment Partners, and Western Asset Management Company.
This stock boasts a 4.45% dividend yield and a whopping 41 Years of dividend increases. I think that would put it on most people’s list of possible investments.
6. 3M Ticker Symbol (MMM)
3M Co. is a technology company, which manufactures industrial, safety, and consumer products.
This company is a big name when it comes to the industrial industry and also when it comes to dividend investors. It has a 66-year streak of dividend increases and a nice 5.74% Dividend Yield, it has been gaining a lot of chatter on stock sites and blogs.
7. Gladstone Capital Corporation Ticker Symbol (GLAD)
I don’t usually talk about my own portfolio just for security reasons but I will say that this is a stock that invest more in on a regular basis. That being said it is somewhat of a wild card, in that it has only increased dividends for 2 consecutive years, but it has been paying dividends for over 20 years. I like it because it’s a monthly-paying stock with a steady price and a 9.82% dividend yield.
